HTC's next smartphone goes by the name of Vox and does things a little differently than current HTC smartphones: it's got a full size, slide out QWERTY keyboard. On top of that is the rumblings that it might use Crossbow, the newer version of Windows Mobile. Maybe this version of Windows mobile won't be as slow as molasses.
Keeping in mind that this is all just rumor and hearsay, the Vox should feature a 2.4-inch display as well as the normal amenities like Wi-Fi, EDGE support and Bluetooth. It still has the same 2.0-megapixel camera that the Dash has, which is kind of lame considering ball point pens now come equipped with more powerful cameras these days. More info on the Vox is expected early next year. If these specs end up being true, then the only new feature would be the slide out keyboard. Considering that the Dash works just fine without such a keyboard, it makes you wonder just what the Vox is trying to accomplish.
