Scott Freeland, the industrious artist behind the iRetrophone dock has returned with iRetrofone Steampunk Copper edition. The dock is powered entirely by gears and steam and curly mustaches, just like everything else in the mid-19th Century.

Freeland’s new dock, which is on sale at Etsy for $450, will charge or sync your iPhone 3G, 3GS, or 4, and sports a working USB handset. The dock, Freedman says, is hand-sculpted with cold cast copper and half-inch thick urethane resin.

If you have a new iPhone, that handset will keep you from touching the antenna, ensuring the highest quality when you’re calling the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen or that bad guy with the big spider from Wild Wild West. [Etsy via iPhone Savior]
