io9 Book Club Is in Session! Let’s Talk About The Three Body Problem

Welcome to the monthly meeting of the io9 Book Club. In December, we read Cixin Liu’s The Three Body Problem, translated by Ken Liu. Jump into comments to get started talking about it!

For those unfamiliar with the io9 book club, here’s how it works: You read the book. We create a special book club post on io9 when the meeting is in session. That would be the post you’re reading. Then everybody talks about the book in comments for a few days, starting right now.

Translator Ken Liu will join us between 7-8 AM Pacific time on Jan. 14 to talk about the book — look for a post where you can write your questions to him on that morning! So, what did you think of The Three Body Problem? UPDATE: Author Cixin Liu will also be joining us for the Q&A, which will be extended an extra hour until 9 AM Pacific time.

Want to get started on our next book?

In January, we’ll be reading Lauren Oliver’s Rooms. We’ll meet on February 3 to discuss it.
