iPaq rz1715 Reviewed; Not Pretty

iPaqHQ has one of the first reviews of the new HP iPAQ rz1715 “Mobile Media Companion” Pocket PC, and let’s just say that they aren’t terribly impressed. It’s not that it’s bad so much as it’s not any better than previous generations (like the h1945, say), and in a few objective ways (it’s larger; it doesn’t have a removable battery; it has less memory; no Bluetooth) and some subjective ways (it’s too square; Carly Fiorina cut me off in the deli line) it’s clearly worse. So the moral of the story is basically that, for the low-end Pocket PC customer, it’s time to start checking out the Dell Axim X30.
