The announcement at long last of the Apple iPhone today marks the end of an era. For well over a year now there has been rampant speculation about Apple’s then-rumored foray into the cell phone field, with everyone wondering what kinds of magical features Steve Jobs and company would bring to the table. That meant product mockups, and lots of ’em. Some tried to pass themselves off as leaks and some came right out and said they were just for fun. The one thing that they all have in common? None of them are anywhere near as cool as the real deal. Nice work, Apple.
