The company with one of the silliest names ever (Otter Products) today announced a new line of iPod cases called the Otterbox. Rather than snicker about the name, we’ll tell you what these things are. Otterbox is designed for all the iPods currently available and will retail for somewhere between $29.95 and $49.95. They’re apparently worth it to because Otter Products insists that they’re made for rugged lifestyles such as biking, hiking, boating, or working out. The shuffle case apparently has good access to the controls too. Did we mention the cases are waterproof? Despite the silly name, these cases seem like decent bang for the buck.
