I won an iPod shuffle from Dealnews when we won the Bloggie, and I actually use it quite a bit, because it’s light and easy and I can carry it around without any weight penalty. The form factor—the long and flat thing—is actually a bit better than the chunky styles of many of flash players.
But I’ll be the first to say the thing needs a screen, and it tickles me no end to see LuxPro, the people who whipped out their ‘Super Shuffle‘ clone at CeBit, continue to smack Apple around with these new clone flash players. Take a look at the ‘EZ Tangent,’ a shuffle clone with a 128 by 64 pixel screen, and the ‘Top Tangent,’ with an even smaller 62 by 48 pixel screen. Both not only fix the shuffle’s glaring flaw, but offer WMA playerback, FM tuning, and voice recording as well.

If LuxPro actually produces the EZ Tangent, I would buy it tomorrow—if they can match the shuffle’s price.
