Syfy is best known for showing original films like Mansquito, Sharktopus and Sharknado... so it's kind of an odd surprise to see the trailer for Isa, a dreamlike and tense movie airing on Syfy on June 11. In which a girl seems to have a mysterious brain implant and she can make things... happen.

Isa comes with a glowing recommendation from Sleep Dealer director Alex Rivera, who writes:

I just caught a preview of this film, made by my excellent friend Jose. It's a surreal and edgy genre piece featuring a great cast of Latino actors. Plugged into themes of borders, migration, dreams. A cool move for SyFy.
