Turns out the rumors were true. SONICblue filed for bankruptcy today. They’re going to sell their ReplayTV and Rio business units to D&M Holdings, which is the parent company of Denon and Marantz, two Japanese stereo equipment companies. Hopefully ReplayTV’s monthly service will continue to be offered uninterrupted to subscribers.
