Universe, you are officially not fired. At long last, there's a brand new Janelle Monáe single — "Q.U.E.E.N." featuring Erykah Badu — and a kick-ass music video, featuring musical rebels in a dystopian future. Hell yes.

Here's the first taste of Monáe's long-awaited album The Electric Lady, apart from a couple of songs she's performed in concert over the past couple years. In the video, it's sometime in the future, and Monáe and the other members of Wondaland, plus Badoula Oblongata, have been put into suspended animation for being "time-traveling rebels" who spread subversive weaponized music and emotion pictures.
