At $150 while it’s 25% off at Amazon, the JBL Xtreme 2 is priced below most reputable 40W waterproof outdoor speakers. JBL’s build quality and acoustic engineering have been consistent enough across the lineup that buying an older model at a genuine price reduction is smart. The 15-hour battery life, IPX7 waterproofing, and 40W of output at this price is a combination that’s hard to beat.
