Curse those crafty Swedes and their penchant for good design—especially when it makes me want to buy something I otherwise have no desire to own. The new Jens of Sweden MP-130 is a nice flash memory music player, with all the standard stuff, like FM-radio, direct-recording/encoding to MP3, plus a few surprises (good and bad), including support for OGG, animated images on the display, and USB 1.1 (as opposed to the perfectly-reasonable-to-expect USB 2.0). It’s available in sizes up to 512MB, but still, it’s a flash player, which I don’t have any need for at all, except for that god damned beautiful mirrored screen, so now I want it. (Thanks, Johan!)
