Today is my last day editing Gizmodo for Gawker Media. After insulting the Irish, Anti-Semites, the New York Times' Circuits section, the entire executive staff of Verizon, and many, many readers, I feel like my work here is done. I'll be sticking around for the rest of the day tying up loose ends, so if you need to get a hold of me, today's the day (editor@gizmodo goes directly to me).
Denton and Steele asked me to excerpt my favorite posts from the last year and a half, and maybe I'll do that today. If you have any fondly-remembered favorites, feel free to recommend them to me, because everything is all one big blur to me.
Update: I'm leaving to pursue a freelance 'career.' You'll be able to get updates on where I'm writing at JoelJohnson.com. Right now there's nothing on that page but contact information, however. Thanks for all the kind words, guys!
