Charlie Brooker's fantastic dystopic anthology series Black Mirror is returning to Channel 4 later this December for a Christmas special - and it's got one hell of a cast.
The 90 minute special, which begins filming this week, will feature three interwoven stories - all connected through Jon Hamm's character - of 'Yuletide techno-paranoia' according to the broadcaster. I don't know about you guys, but nothing says 'Christmas' to me like a bit of good ol' techno-paranoia. Hamm himself had this to say in a statement released by Channel 4:
I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Black Mirror Christmas Special. I have been a massive fan of the show since its inception. Its dark humour and intelligent observation of our society and values hooked me deeply as a viewer and I'm honoured that Charlie and the rest of the creative team have asked me to participate in wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.
Hamm will be joined in the special by Game of Thrones and The Crimson Field star Oona Chaplin, as well as Rafe Spall (The Shadow Line, Prometheus).
