Korg has announced their latest high-end keyboard today, called the OASYS, and it’s a doozy. The whole thing runs on Linux, with a built-in 10.4-inch touchscreen, 16-track HD audio recording, and the second-generation of its sythesis engine KARMA (which is a blast to play around with if you ever get a chance, even if you’re an awful keyboard player like I am). Plus a CD burner lets you drop out copies of the music you create. It’s a lot like the Neko Workstation, except its more like a keyboard with a lot of functionality and less like a PC attached to a keyboard (both ideas have merit, though; don’t get me wrong).

No price yet, but you can be sure it’s going to be spendy as all get out.
