Laptop Coolers: I Made Shis Review Myshelf

By

Reading time 1 minute

The first of these two reviews for notebook coolers (you know, little platforms with fans and USB hubs you can use to keep you laptop cool) is, possibly, the worst hardware review I’ve ever read in my entire life. Normally, I try to be forgiving of the little hardware review sites like ExtensionTech, just out there trying to get some free schwag, impress the ladies, but when you write something this meandering and mealy-mouthed (“Lower temperatures? Most likely; I’d guess a degree or two Celsius perhaps.” Incisive!), then have the balls to say it was edited by another human being…look, you can’t list “It should give you some peace of mind” in the ‘Pros’ column.

Anyway, laptop coolers: the CoolMax X Notebook Cooler looks cheesy and relatively junky, but the Antec Notebook Cooler (despite putting your hands in a slightly less ergonomic position) seems like the one to go with, being both better looking and reviewed by someone that, you know, busted out a temperature probe and everything.
