This week in the world of cartoons, a familiar face appears on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a new character debuts on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and we’ve got a couple of holiday-themed clips for you as well.

Clone Wars, Regular Show, and Adventure Time are off this week due to the Holiday season.

As always – minor spoilers ahead!

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – “Wonderbolt Academy”

Rainbow Dash receives an invitation to become one of the best, a member of the Wonderbolt Academy!

We see Lightning Dust for the first time in this episode, a nice foil for Rainbow Dash.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – “It Came From The Depths”

Leatherhead is back! Or at least a mutant alligator resembling the ‘ol TMNT character appears in this week’s episode.

Michelangelo finds and befriends the mutant gator, but does he have a connection to Kraang?

Rugrats – “A Rugrats Chanukah”

As Chanukah comes to an end this weekend, here is a look at one of the best holiday specials of all time.

In this episode from 1996, the Rugrats re-enact their interpretation of the story of the Maccabees.

Marvel Mash-Up – “Green Goblin”

Green Goblin is the center of this Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends mash-up, as he defends his selection of a purple handbag.

Stan Lee’s World of Heroes – “Real Life Hobbit One Ring”

From Stan Lee’s World of Heroes comes this wonderful retro-style toy commercial that would be at home with Saturday morning cartoons of a decade or two ago. Get the one ring, kill your friends!

Tron: Uprising – “We Both Know How This Ends”

This is a pretty messed up world. Mara is in charge of the garage, but if she fails to make things move along smoothly, all of her co-workers will be sent to the fight in the games. Another new episode, “The Stranger”, airs this Sunday at midnight.
