Walk the floor of any tech trade show and chances are you’ll be bombarded with booth babes and HDTVs. Not much can be done to improve the former, but LG is hoping it can do something about the latter so they’ve teamed up with Japanese broadcaster NHK and Sega in an effort to demo 1080p programming only throughout their booth at CES. Most of the content will come from NHK, who will provide LG with experimental 1080p broadcasts they’ve filmed using high-speed motion cameras. It’ll be interesting to see what NHK can come up with and it’ll definitely beat watching the same generic movie loop everyone else will be showing.
