CNet has an interview with Victor Tsao, founder of Linksys, the consumer-grade networking hardware company that was bought up last year by Cisco, about their plans to position Linksys as a major contender in the Voice Over IP market. With big movers and shakers like AT&T moving into the VoIP space, and parent-company Cisco’s strong foothold in the corporate VoIP market, there’s plenty of opportunity for Linksys and other vendors to start selling new hardware to small business and home consumers (think ‘one VoIP router for every household’).
