Great Stallman’s ghost! Linux on the iPod, so I can finally…well, play MP3s. Sadly, one of the goals of the project, the ability to use the iPod to playback OGG Vorbis files, has still not been realized. So without being too cruel, this project is essentially useless at the moment, but has the potential to do some interesting things with the firmware in the future (like create a highly-useable interface and a fast song database for quick performance, sort of like, you know, Apple).
