Logan director James Mangold continues to post interesting bits and bobs to his Twitter account. In addition to another black-and-white shot of Hugh Jackman as Old Man Logan—one that makes it even money that the next Logan trailer uses “Ring of Fire” instead of “Hurt”—there are also some lovely storyboards.

So here they are in their full glory:
It’s Logan seeing cops at a motel and unsheathing his claws. The latter which must cause a bit of pain, seeing as we know his healing factor is compromised in this movie. The point here isn’t that we learn a ton, it’s a) how strangely pretty the art is and b) the increasing sense that Logan is going to be a superhero movie that does something different and interesting. I would not have pegged the third standalone Wolverine movie for that.
Logan is due in theaters March 3, 2017.
