Everything USB takes the Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse out for a night of LAN gaming and says it’s A-OK. The MX518 is the new model with the DPI changing switch on the side, making it easy to flip back and forth between quick movement with high DPI settings (up to 1600!) down to the low DPI settings for precision sniping, even without drivers. If you do install the drivers, though, be prepared to experience both a wide range of extended features and a bunch of confusing, not-quite-explained options. Still, it looks a winner for $50, even if it does look like the Edward James Olmos Edition.
