One of the really interesting things about Mad Max: Fury Road is the response from artists across the internet. It seems like you can’t go a couple of days without something new popping up. The latest, the movie retold through hieroglyphics, looks stunning.

This latest piece of fan art comes from Takumi, an artist from Japan:

It’s really stunning, and to my eyes, it really captures the movie well: the colors match up nicely, and it does a good job outlining the entire story from beginning to end. This needs to be a meme: retell a movie through hieroglyphs in a similar fashion.

Over on Twitter, you can see some early sketches of the piece.
