French Designer Nicolas Triboulot has developed Magnetude, a paint containing fine metal particles that make whatever you paint with it conveniently magnetic. The possibilities are endless: magnetic wood, magnetic sofas, magnetic Labrador Retrievers, et cetera. Triboulout went so far as to design a fully modular, nomadic house with magnetic furniture and decorations. I really hope Sherwin-Williams starts to produce something like this en masse, although I wonder how you’d get it out of the pail. At the very least, it’s a new place for me to stick my magnetic egg timer.
