When Netflix first announced it was doing a Marco Polo show, I wasn’t particularly excited. But now that I’ve seen this first trailer — which seems to be going down the Game of Thrones route, i.e., plenty of political intrigue and sex. The difference is Marco Polo includes martial arts. I’m sold.
Really, “Game of Thrones – dragons and magic but + kung fu” is a trade-off I’m exceedingly happy to accept. All 10 episodes of the series will debut on Netflix on December 12th.
