It looks like Microsoft is sending its portly player to fat camp. While updating folks on the Zune’s European launch, Zune marketing chief Chris Stephenson admitted that Microsoft is working on a new line of Zunes, including a thinner flash-based player. Stephenson also hinted at the release of a “truly Wi-Fi-enabled” Zune. What that means is anyone’s guess, and unfortunately we’re gonna have to wait till the 4th quarter of 2007 to find out as that’s when Microsoft plans on releasing its new players.
