Microsoft’s TechFest begins today and one of the items on display will be this system, developed by Microsoft’s research division. It is essentially a DDR dance pad that can control a user interface. For those unfamiliar with the DDR franchise, the dance pad has designated arrows and buttons that are normally used to correspond to beats in the game, but for Microsofts system it will be used to navigate and scroll through a wide variety of applications. This is still in the prototype phase and Yahoo! News is speculating that it will never make it to the store shelves, at least we can at least hope. Are you really running that low on new ideas, Microsoft?
