When last we’d heard, the MiTAC Mio 8380, the first clamshell phone to run Microsoft’s Smartphone OS, had been postponed indefinitely because of SARS. Now apparently the phone will be available in China later this month and in Taiwan sometime next month. No word on a possible US release date, but the phones are tri-band GSM, so they would work here.
