Jim Hughes writes in that he doesn’t want a Swiss Army knife of a gadget, just something like the Personal Mobile Gateway from IXI Mobile, which offloads all the cellular connectivity to a little box that connects to all of your different Bluetooth-enabled phones and PDAs.
And Morgan over at Knitwitology.com talks about what he wants: a HipTop-sized cellphone that can handle web access, email and instant messenger, with a slot for an SD digital camera, an MP3 player, and WiFi and/or Bluetooth so it can connect to a portable drive and a link to a wristwatch so you can see at a glance who is emailing or instant messaging.
