PC World tested that new Hitachi Desktop 7K400—the massive 400GB 7200RPM 8MB Buffer Serial ATA drive—and are suitably impressed. Not only is the big bastard a great value (at only $400), it’s super-speedy as well, especially when it comes to streaming media—making the 7K400 a perfect candidate for new PVR/DVRs (or upgrades to older models).
