American’s have finally agreed on something in politics: Obama is the guy we want to fight off alien invaders. A new poll, sponsored by the National Geographic Channel, shows that 65 percent of Americans believe that Obama would be better at fighting aliens than Mitt Romney. And since 36 percent of respondents believe in UFOs, this could actually help turn the election in Obama’s favor.
But the [poll], done as a tie-in for NatGeo’s new show Chasing UFOs, didn’t just stop at electoral concerns. No, the wise voters of America also picked The Hulk as their preferred superhero to fight off aliens. Not that it matters, since most Americans who believe in aliens also believe they will be friendly.
The survey did not ask who would be better at fighting off zombies or dragons, but did have a 2.9 percent margin of error.
