Motorola i870: Mold Free

The walkie-talkieness of the i870 was established a few days ago. Now it’s launching and, along with being a music-playing, picture-sending Nextel phone, it turns out to also be coated in AgION anti-microbial paint. That means it’s so fresh and so clean that you could wipe a baby’s butt with it and never fear diaper rash. The i870:

helps inhibit the growth of microbes such as bacteria and mold on the handset’s painted surfaces.

Mold? Good to know that in case I leave the phone in the fridge next to my General Tso’s Chicken for a few weeks it will come out just as clean as when I put it in there. (I wonder what the keypad would smell like after that?) The coating is non-toxic. Just $299 with all the fixins’.
