Nechbi brings word from the Microsoft Mobile Developers Conference about the new ‘MotoPro Platform’ from Motorola. Both the MPX100 and the MPX will be among the first to run Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition (new for 2004!) with a bucketload of ‘finally!’ features, including 30FPS video capture, MP3 ringtones, text-to-speech, WiFi (built-in on the MPX and optional on the MPX100 without taking up an SD slot), stereo sound, and Java. Kudos to Motorola for their refocus on pioneering technology; It’s been a long time since we’ve eyed Moto products so lustfully.
