There are many creeptastic moments in Boogeyman, but this is the creepiest. First the murky bath-monster abducts a woman, then a guy gets mummified with cling-wrap. And using a box-cutter to remove the cling-wrap turns out to be ill-advised. Shockingly.
Boogeyman has a few truly great moments where you can tell that Supernatural creator Eric Kripke came up with the story and co-wrote the script, and Sam Raimi produced the thing with his regular partner Rob Tapert. But the Saran-wrap thing is the one image that totally creeps me the fuck out. Something about the total mummification and the ham-fisted attempt to use the box-cutter. Eep. [IMDB]
