In Japan, it isn’t enough to just, you know, call the cops when a robber breaks into your home. No, you’ve got to put your money on them being epileptic and then try to give them a seizure. At least that’s how I understand the Intrusion Alarm System by National Japan. It blasts a loud alarm while also flashing very bright floodlights when it detects a break-in, rendering the epileptic criminal incapable of escaping before police arrive.
