New Google Mobile Home Page Features Local Points of Interest

Google’s mobile page has undergone a minor change. Below the search bar, you can now toggle a menu, called “near me now” to populate a list of nearby businesses, ATMs, restaurants, cafes, etc., based on your current location. Not quite a Yelp killer yet, but it’s something. Available for iPhone 3.x and Android 2.x phones. [Google Mobile]
