Media center PCs are turning out to be a hot new category, with tons of new models coming out. Pretty soon these are gonna merit a weblog of their own. The latest one to hit the market is the Digital Media Console 900 from a small company called Yuclid. The Digital Media Console 900 runs Windows XP, operates via a remote controland, and combines a DVR that can store up to 45 hours of television programming with a DVD player, Dolby 5.1 digital surround sound, 802.11b for wireless networking. Yuclid even claims that it can play console games with a software emulator.
