Architect Greg Lynn is the inventor of the easy-to-use building material called blobwall. It looks just like it sounds: kind of bubblegummy. But blobwall is:
made from a lightweight honeycomb material developed by Panelite, and is a freestanding, indoor/outdoor wall system made of a low-density, recyclable, and impact-resistant polymer.
Lynn will be showing off his blobwall designs at a Miami design show this week. Here’s a blue one:
