Additional footage from the Syfy Channel's latest gate series Stargate Universe is out and, from the looks of things, it's still going for that Stargate "painted black" look... with sex. Count me in.
The sadly David Blue-free look was heavy on Ming-Na and Lou Diamond Phillips (looks like LDP get's rough end of a rifle shoved in his head). We still don't have nearly enough from this new series to seriously start judging. But you can't help but get excited for a cast of characters like this on a Gate series.
Stargate Universe will begin in October.
