In September we got the first look at Collateral Beauty, which stars Will Smith as a grieving man who encounters human-looking manifestations of Death, Time, and Love. Or… are they actors hired by his concerned friends? We’re still not sure what’s really going on, though this second trailer does lean way more into the “sappy fantasy” realm.

Alongside Smith, the star-studded cast includes Helen Mirren (as Death), Keira Knightley (as Love), and Kate Winslet, Edward Norton, Michael Peña, and Naomie Harris as his concerned friends. Whether or not Collateral Beauty (directed by the guy who made The Devil Wears Prada, David Frankel) has actual fantasy elements or not, it’s definitely gunning to jerk as many tears as possible out of your defenseless eyeballs. It’s out December 16.
