The New York Times is curiously listed as newly available for digital subscription via Barnes & Noble’s eReader iPad app while also declared “temporarily suspended.” Barnes & Noble claims the delay is due to an impending software update. [TUAW]
We were just contacted by a PR representative on behalf of Barnes & Noble, who had the following to say:
We just contacted TUAW to correct their post and noted The NY Times is now available through the BN eReader for iPad and it does have a table of contents (which they note it does not). The message / information they posted is related to iPhone and iPod touch, not iPad. Periodicals will be available on the updated iPhone app coming this summer.
