We've heard rumors that the next generation Apple TV will offer cloud-based streaming, but now we're hearing that it will also bring 99 cent TV show rentals. Sounds like a reasonable attempt to compete with other streaming rental services. [NewTeeVee]
A 99 cents for a single TV show isn't a rental... it's called Pay-Per-View.
Other possibilities.... watching them on their network's website. Or waiting 6 months and streaming all the episodes on Netflix later.
Most TV shows are throwaway content anyway... not worth a dollar.
