No less than nine new digital cameras out from Sony today: the DSC-V1 (pictured at right) a new five megapixel compact prosumer camera with a 4x Zeiss zoom lens; a bunch of new Cybershot cameras, all with either three or five megapixels, and varying degrees of zoom and support for USB 2.0 and Memory Stick Pro; and two new Mavica cameras that store photos on mini CD-Rs, one with three megapixels, and the other wih five. Notice how none of their new cameras have a resolution of either two or four megapixels?
