Nintendo is planning on unveiling a new peripheral for the Gamecube at E3, which they have compared to Sony’s wildly successful EyeToy—a product many within the company feel should have been their own. No one really knows what it’ll be, and knowing Nintendo, it will either be incredibly innovative and revolutionary or a one-game red herring that is soon forgotten. Maybe we’ll get lucky and get Virtual Boy II!
