In director Kevin Smith’s Gen-X staple Mallrats, the character Willam (Ethan Suplee) spends the majority of the film fruitlessly attempting to see a schooner hidden in a Magic Eye stereographic image. But thanks to some 21st century Photoshop manipulation, we learn that there’s good reason Willam never could see that damn sailboat. How immensely cruel.
