Tech Digest is reporting that the football-shaped Nokia 7600 is a major hit for UK carrier Three. A vendor there has been selling the 7600 (which is similar in function, if not form, to the Nokia 3650/3620) at a rate between 7,000 and 10,000 a week. Interestingly, while Nokia is listed as a ‘network partner’ on the Three company site, it implies that Motorola and NEC are to be the primary handset providers.
