Usually I hate having to dig around under the cushions of my chairs and couches to find things I’m looking for. But what if you could depend on your remotes, magazines, and maybe even a snack being in those crevices…

That’s the idea behind Lost in Sofa, a new design by Japanese studio Daisuke Motogi Architecture formed of upholstered cubes that can hold or conceal any number of items. TV remote? Oh I stuck it right here. Some spare change? No problem. Double AA batteries? Down by my left leg. A few Ritz crackers? I’ve got some of those around here somewhere…

Eh OK maybe the crackers are still best left in the pantry. But for all that other stuff! [Dezeen]
