The NUVO (not to be confused with the portable audio device, the ‘MuVo’) is a “simple and good design robot” from ZMP, a Japanese robotics company. Currently available for around $30,000, a consumer model (presumably with a stripped down feature-set) is set to be released at the end of the year for around $5,000.
