Olympus is offering two new colors of their m:robe MR-100 MP3 player—sort of. The front of the device is still the Knight-Rider-like red-on-black (of which, I must say, I am a fan). The back of the current models is white, but the new models will be available with backs in light pink and light blue. It’s like those videos I used to stare at when I was a kid, where the cover girl was a studious bookworm by day but a crime-fighting whore at night. I may be getting some of the plot-points confused.
No idea if we’ll get these models in America. I guess it depends on how well the MR-100 is selling, which is hard to augur considering Olympus misguidedly put all their marketting muscle into the MR-500.
