Treo 800w users can finally do voice dialing over their Bluetooth headsets with this software update pack. One caveat is that you'll need to have the TREO800w-1.03-SPNT as your current "Software Version" under your About screen, so if you don't, you'll have to update to that first. To clarify, though this may be the first time Palm has actually enabled the Bluetooth headset microphone for use with voice dialing, it has long supported voice dialing. You just had to keep the phone somewhat close by. Still, as a Palm fan frustrated by silly exclusions of simple functionality, this is great news.

Please direct this question towards Cupertino...along with one about A2DP and, well, just about any Bluetooth profile other than headset.
